Frannie Sweeney, Coastal Sales Manager of Vintopia, has a varied background with an emphasis on food and sales. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, and coming from a long line of amazing cooks, it was only natural that she went into the catering business with her Mom. Though they closed the business when it became more work than fun, a "foodie" had been born. It was about this time that Frannie's interest in organics began. She has been a dedicated advocate of organics for 25 years now and has been growing food organically in her own gardens for over 12 years. She also has
held the position of Buyer for an organic food cooperative, Tidal Creek Cooperative Food Market, in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was as the buyer for perishable and frozen foods that Frannie was first introduced to organic wine. Her duties also included planning special events, from wine tastings and food fairs to education of the public about organics.

Having a brother who was a Vice President of Fetzer Vineyards, and willing to share his knowledge of wine, she began her informal education in wine back in the early nineties. Although relatively new to the wine industry itself, she has enjoyed a strong career in sales for over 20 years where she has earned the reputation as a top producer for several companIes.

It was only natural that after many years gaining experience with wine, food and sales, that Frannie and Jack would finally come to work together pursuing their shared passions and representing some of the most incredible people and wineries in northern California.

Frannie's very favorite place to be remains in the kitchen, enjoying a glass ofwine and creating an unforgettable meal with her family! (click here to email Frannie)
